Celebrate little moments. Even the tiniest of wins, whether that’s keeping your potted plant alive or beating a level of Candy Crush, let yourself take joy in it. Don’t take for granted the joy that little wins bring. Rejoice in the great feelings of small victories.

You can be strong and you can be weak. You can be brave and absolutely terrified. You can be all these things together because you are a complex being with many sides to your soul. You are also simply incredible for powering through life each and every day.

You might not automatically know your purpose in life, but you can learn to seek out your passions. The truth is, it’s up to us forge our purpose based on what lights our personal fire. You get to decide what you want to do with your life and the kind of impact you want to have on the world. You are just that incredible, friend. Your destiny is in your hands.

“It’s just a phase.” Darling, the Moon has phases but it is still the Moon at its core. You, too, will go through phases of dark and light, but ultimately your “you-ness” will not waiver. You are luminous, not matter the phase you’re experiencing.

If you consider that simply being alive is amazing (and it is!), every experience takes on value. Being human isn’t just about grand moments of inspiration or romance or accomplishment; it’s also about the hiccups and stumbles and disasters — the nitty-gritty of a big, complex, and challenging universe. Scrapes and bruises, mistakes and misfortunes, embarrassments and regrets: These are all just as “human” as the joys and pleasures. It’s all part of the grandest adventure.

Be Creative. Be inquisitive. Be alive. You’re here for a reason. To learn, to relearn, to change your perspective as you gather more information. You’re here to build, then to tear it down and start again. No matter how long you’re here on Earth, there will still be something to discover around the next corner. How exciting!

We are all connected. There isn’t a single atom in your body that hasn’t existed since creation. The tiniest building blocks of you have been a part of other things, and those parts of you will continue on for infinity in synchronicity with every living, conscious thing. You were meant to be right here, right now, even if what you choose to do with that time is up to you. Choose to do the things that your soul cries out for you to do to make the most of every last atom.

When you go to bed tonight, that’s proof positive that you made it through one more day. Every morning that you wake up is another chance to live. Even during your darkest days — especially on your darkest days — remember this. Each and every breath you take is testament that YOU are a survivor and that you keep making it through. You’re magnificent and wondrous.
