If you start drawing lines in chalk on the ground, people are going to assume you’re either outlining a body or casting a circle. No judgment, but totally expect people to start backing away from you slowly, Crabby. You might need a little more space from other people today, but you could be slightly more subtle than marking it in chalk. Or putting up orange cones. Or whatever crazy thing you might have thought of to make sure people cease and desist trying to talk to you. Get your space — but do it by being kind. And if you come across someone else who looks like they could use a little bit more than six feet of social distancing, be sure to respect their boundaries, too. Maybe no one feels like playing well with others today, and that’s totally okay, Cancer. Just make sure you don’t get out the chalk when you can just use your grownup words instead.
