Can’t dance? Jiggle. Can’t jiggle? Wiggle your nose until it’s itchy, and then laugh at how weird it is that nose wiggles cause itchies. Take a little time to not be sooo serious. Most everyone’s eyes are the same ones they had when they were kids… even once they don’t work so well. Even if you only have one left. So, there’s probably no reason that you can’t see things the way you did when you still had the magic and joy and wonder of a babe.

Pick it up. Brush it off. Spit on it. Shine it with your shirt sleeve. Put a name tag and a sticker on it. It is your life, and you are completely in the right to clean it up and make it shine.

  • Moment 4-2-21

It’s okay to be sad. It’s perfectly human to cry (Looking at you. Yes, YOU!). It’s totally acceptable to get ticked off and shake your fist at the sky. We have to feel those things to get them out. We don’t want to unpack and live there, obviously, becoming chronically unhappy — but the best way to avoid that is to let yourself feel the gook and not hold it all inside. It’s normal and healthy to have a whole range of crazy-mixed up-gross feelings and then be able to come full circle to joy again.

Remember that time you thought all hope was lost? That your heart would never heal? Well, here you still are. Living, breathing, making it through every day like the epic survival-skilled boss you are. Everyone’s secretly in awe over how you keep going. You should be, too — you glorious, resilient thing, you!

  • Moment 3-31-21

Seek all you want. Learn whatever you desire. Grow in the way that fits you best. You’ve got this one shot to be uniquely you… spend as much of that time as you can chasing whatever that means on the deepest of the deep levels in your heart and soul.

  • Moment 3-30-21

If you stumble and learn from it, you haven’t really failed. You’ve gained some life experience and learned what to do differently next time. You, my friend, aren’t a failure. You’re a student of life — and you’ve earned a pretty impressive scholarship. Keep learning and growing.

  • Moment 3-29-21

Be a warrior of kindness. You may even inspire and delight your own soul in the process. Side effects include: undeniable happiness, trembling of hands and feet, chills up your spine, ability to look yourself in the mirror, and random peals of laughter.

  • Moment 3-28-21

The moon has proven time and time again that you don’t need to appear whole in order to shine. Go ahead and radiate your light and your impressive power, even in the phases when you feel less than full. Much like the moon that moves entire oceans, you are a force even when you’re not at 100%.

  • Moment 3-27-21

You’ve probably heard by now that time and distance are probably illusions. But what does that even mean? Well, the important part is that no matter how far apart we are in the world, or for how long, that we’re all still truly connected outside of the boundaries of our bodies. Your shiny spirit is nothing short of amazing and timeless.

  • Moment 3-26-21

Your heart matters. Your soul matters. Your spirit matters. Your thoughts matter. Doesn’t matter how you spin it. Doesn’t matter what they say. You’re here for a reason, even if you haven’t found it yet… and so by absolute default, you absolutely matter.

What is courage? Courage propels people into action. It is speaking out against injustice. It’s being able to admit when we’re wrong. It’s chasing your dreams against the odds. It’s moving forward when you’re scared to death. Courage is within us all, though we don’t always realize it. Here’s your reminder: YOU are courage.
