When several opportunities present themselves to you, take the one that terrifies you the most. That’s the one that will force you outside your comfort zone. That’s the one that will help you grow.

Battles are not often won by a single person, but by armies. Accept help from your allies when it is offered. The more people in your platoon, the easier it can become to win your wars.

Our thoughts are a lot like jewelry. Some are bright, glittering, beautiful. Others are gaudy, heavy, overwhelming. It is up to choose what jewelry we wear as well as the thoughts we think. Go for the bright and beautiful today. Sparkle on.

The butterflies in the skies are so gorgeous and free that we don’t often stop to consider what they were before. All butterflies were once caterpillars confined to the earth as little worms, with limited view of the world, but they underwent epic change in order to take their freedom and fly. Even if it hurts when your wings are growing, it is worth the changes you’ll go through.

Never, ever apologize for your eccentricities. The people who matter don’t mind. Many of them adore your quirky, true self. On the other hand, those who have a problem with your oddities aren’t worth your apologies. Nothing of greatness or amazing was ever accomplished by being “normal.”

Procrastinating out of fear of ill-preparedness, while a comfort in the moment, may very well rob us of beautiful experiences. You’re ready. Live your best moments without hesitation.

It’s important to think about and plan for the future, certainly. Of course we want to keep our dreams and intentions in the front of our minds. We must be careful, however, not to obsess over what might happen and forget to live life as it is happening to us now. Live mindfully and passionately in each moment — it’s yours to own.

There are potentially a bunch of you in existence somewhere, all living similar but slightly different lives in various parallel universes. Wouldn’t it be great if you were choosing to live your best life in all of those realms right here and now, forging happiness despite life’s circumstances?

Inevitably, our actions attract like-minded people to us. After all, people find comfort in that which is familiar. Thus, when we make daily strides to stay positive and act kindly, we will often find ourselves surrounded by a party of optimistic, warmhearted humans. The love you put out there is contagious.

Some people love us in spite of our faults, others love us because of our faults, and a few love us unconditionally, faults and all. This last kind of love is the most rare and resilient of all. When you find such love, treasure it.

When the world becomes a cold place, it’s up to us to bring it warmth. Icy hearts can be thawed with the warmth of your kindness. It may take time and effort, but it is possible. Even the most frozen of hearts cannot often withstand the heat that radiates from goodness and love.

Once a child, always a child. A part of our essence is childlike, and it needs to experience childish joy, like giggle fests and tickle fights. Remember to tend to the needs of your inner child. Be gleeful and giddy.
